I need a little advice on frame sizing for my first bike to run aerobars.
Background;
I've got a road bike which was fitted to me by The Bike Whisperer;
It's a size small, using a 100mm (Tester dustcap) slammed stem and compact bars.
(Geo Chart).
I figure starting with a cheap frame is sensible so I've been looking at the Dolan Pre Cursa.
I've compared the geometry charts of my road bike to both the 50 and 52 and calculated the reach and stack (As attached).
Please note the fork length and rake is copied from my road bike as I'll be buying frame only and haven't yet decided on which fork will be used.
The reach of both frames is longer than my road bike I assume this shouldn't necessarily an issue as the fit triangle will be rotated forward.
The difference between both sizes realistically comes to stack and the degree difference in head tube length.
Would those of you with better knowledge of such things make a recommendation between either size or "Secret Option C - none of the above).
