Discovered a horrible amount of limescale in the kettle so mixed up some strong citric acid and put it in, now there's tons of vapour coming off, it's not dangerous is it?

Never mind, it's calcium carbonate so I'll get calcium citrate, carbon dioxide and water.

GCSE chemistry ftw.

I descaled my kettle this way and forgot to take the water out. Someone then came and drank said water and presumed that our tea bags were citrus flavoured.
