Nice.
Nice bunch of guys too, some really strong riders.
Yep I am still aching. And you can buy the Lanterne Rouge book after you get dropprd. All Campagnolo however.

No we just talk.

No, but Amey has built and sold 4 bikes for life in that time, without riding any of them much.

I thought I'd start an extremely sluggish CP thread to mark what I'm thinking of doing to the bike in the next few months.
This is it, as it stands:
In fairness he did set the expectation up front.
Just a thought, what about masking off all of the red areas and stipping the paint, then clearcoating the carbon?... or just mattblacking

I honestly don't see much wrong with it. I certainly would spend £££'s to make it look better. Just ride it?

You're in the wrong forum.

I don't think I've even ridden it in 2 weeks lol.
No, mentioned above, my bike changes are slow and steady things. I'm super broke this month so I doubt there will be much change apart from maybe buying the vinyl wrap or a stem.
Payday is likely to be either new shoes* / new kit**, and maybe the Flo Rims.
*Giro Factors, which means my Speedplay Sidis and Chrome Truk Pros will come up for sale, along with some other stuff.
** Search and State bibs and jersey - quality is Rapha level, but it's more subtle and less common. My club kit is knackered and I don't ride for them any more so I need to get rid of that.

Needs ++ aero, +lightness, +++stupidity
but yeah, also needs riding.

How much of a nightmare did you find to do this, Pooface? I can imagine pulling my hair out about air bubbles. Any tips?
-
• #391
use a pin
-
• #392
Yep a pin and a decent amount of time.
I did mine while I had a broken foot so had nothing but time.
Thinking of updating the livery for this summer, think im gonna go denim next

The only problem I can foresee is the almost impossibility of getting a clean flow of camo print. Wrapping stuff around tubes is just too difficult.
Black and Camo Dazzle?
-
• #394
Thats the beauty of camo, you can overlap it and can still look good
-
• #395
but I would go tube by tube then fill in the caps with well measured pieces
-
• #396
I was considering doing the difficult bits (head tube, seat cluster, BB) first and then doing full tubes afterwards?
-
• #397
that is also a good idea

Good move.

Lots of responsibilities, no benefits. You were a trailblazer Dimi

I'd wear my NLTCBMBC kit all the time if any of it fit me /lame
Not so much a fan of that kit. I'm just going to have to pony up for Rapha and ride with whoever.
