Indeed. Two stems are all the rage with the DH set
There's even a current TT bike which has them

Does my TT bike count?
It needs a bit of work at the moment (seatpost and stem stuck) and it's built with a odd mix of 90s parts (6 speed campag seems to index well with 8 speed Ultegra shifters), but the plan is to use it for some local TTs once I get the seatpost removed. The position doesn't seem to be overly aggressive (the seatpost is currently stuck at around the right height for me) and the saddle/stem drop isn't anywhere near as dramatic as some of the other bikes I've seen in this thread.

It's not really a lo-pro, and you probably want an inline seat post to save excessive stress on the saddle rails when you're on the rivet.

it counts more than the red hhsb conversion from 4 post above

That's true.

Shame about the HHSB wheels, some 1990s Shamals would top that off nicely.

^^ Your inspiration is top of page. Should be 650 fork...
-
• #1873
trying to source the original 650 fork but for possible selling purposes only
we're going practical on this one with more hhsb and less period correct.

If you leave the 700 fork in there, you end up with this:

oh shit
well that's not very nice
Why have one stem, when you can have two?
