Been up there years ago (not on a bike) stunning view of the Geiranger fjord. Would love to cycle around Norway, they've got the dosh to keep the roads all nice, not like the pock-marked shit you get around here.

Yes and no.

The offical statistic puts us behind Lativia or something. In European table for road quality.

But this is more related to ease of car travel. So from a cycling veiwpoint they're awesome. The one issue is the tunnels, and the neglect that occurs to the old road once a tunnel replaces it as a main route. Trying to plot a 200+km route without having to ride through long tunnels is near impossible.
