Got a mad 80's Harry Perry project up for grabs - little people and a lack of time means all must go!
23.5" of pure 80's Flouro Frame, with a v. Rare Omas headset. Unfortunately the alloy lower cup has developed a crack after a pothole related incident and subsequently should be replaced before being ridden - but it will get you to the train station if you wish to ride it home, WITH ITS 80's Scott Branded Orange-Flouro Aero Bars, oosh!
The Scott Aero bars are bolted up onto a nice Cinelli Quill Stem & Bar Setup, again, unfortunately the 'Critirium' logo on the centre of e bars is scratched up somewhat but perfectly useable.
Drivetrain is nothing to write home about but with a quick scrub will get you going, a mix of Shimano 105, Sachs Huret & a un branded chainset rolling on a sealed SKF bottom bracket. Brake levers and calipers are also 105, probably worth slinging some new cables in though to be honest.
Wheels are questionably the nicest part, Campagnolo Athena Screw-On Hubs (with Campagnolo Skewers!) built to Macic MA40 front & rear rims. Wheels run true and have good tension, although a wipe down wouldn't go amiss. Tyres have seen better miles but a few left in them to get you going.
Otherwise there is a used Selle Italia Turbo ( Original one!) bolted up to a nice fluted Seatpost. It's not stuck so there is a little bonus!
All in all, with a bloody good clean and some consumable parts replaced someone will have a bloody nice bike!
Well worth £120 posted, so knock a tenner off and I will deliver it to Brighton!
