BB looks high to me with those (150mm?) forks. Hate high bbs on mtbs, but obviously it's personal preference. Suppose peaks riding is less twisty than the stuff I ride and clearance matters more. Do you not find it really wandery on climbs with the slack HA/SA with layback post though. What I loved about my old Ragley was that it still had a slack HA with forks wound down to 110mm travel, and the steep seat tube angle kept your weight forward for climbing.
