  • Greetings folks,

    Hills - gate.
Yes there are hills, but they are few and far between. East Anglia is gently rolling countryside. Yes there is a little steep hill outside Finchingfield. There is a big descent of about half a mile in to Sudbury and there is a long hill for at least a mile out of Bildeston on way to Whattisham. Do not let gradients put you off....

The main thing about this ride is the distance.... Personally I wouldn't choose to do (for me) 130 miles normally. But tell me there is a magical ride all night from London to the Suffolk coast and yes, given health and strength, I'm in. I've done one 60 mile ride last month, I'll try and get an 80 mile ride done in May / early June. My work is 4 miles away from home, but most days I am going up in to town and getting 10 under my belt instead. For me it's just working towards that goal and building up the fitness as we go...

As for times taken to get there. For me it's just did I make it or not...

    Peace and love,
    Tim
