I didn't want to blur them, there is a long super wanky explanation for why in my head for these pics but basically it's about how cyclists come and go on the track which pretty much stays the same. So the tight focus is wrong too as it needs more of what's around the cyclists on the track.
Also photos of motion blurred fast cyclists look interesting and I like boring photos; I would've avoided or cloned out spectators if this worked better or if I try it again some time
