  • It's probably a later model meaning it's a 44mm chainline. Which isn't really a problem and there are couple of ways around it. The easy solution is a longer spindle length on your bb if you have a square taper bottom bracket.

    What I've done with my Omniums though, is add a 1mm spacer under each chainring bolt between the spider and chainring. The omnium and original chainring are quite beefy so if you upgrade the chainring to something better that is available in sizes other than 48t (you should definitely do this) then the 1mm spacer fix is easy and looks clean whilst straightening out any chainline 'problems'.
