  • There is a nice article in Creative Review annual about Rapha as a brand; origins and how do they work. Decent insight. No link unfortunately; you have to buy/subscribe Creative Review.

The author who wrote that ^ also wrote this in design week.

  • Hardshell is the only totally waterproof jacket they make

    Wore mine today, was spot-on.

  • Pink Bidons!

  • I saw that, was very tempted, but didn't buy it.

Will do for my new bike though (black and pink CK headset anyone?).

  • Pink Bidons!

I'm not quite sure they match the pro team mitts & socks…..which are back in stock btw in white and pink

Angus, Editor of (what used be weekly print, now online) mag Design Week. Nice guy.

  • But pricey?

  • Just took delivery of the super lightweight jersey, looks like I've gone up a size or they've shrunk 'em!

  • Has anyone got any experience of the lightweight bibs? Looking for a hot weather pair and it's between them and the pro team. I'm a small Assos - not sure of size comparisons..

  • I really like mine and they're noticeably lighter feeling.

  • Am I imagining it or is there something extremely homoerotic about Rapha?!

I'm a size down in Rapha from Assos Mille if that helps?

The lightweights are nice, but not as nice as the Castelli body paint.

What and men with shaved legs in lycra didnt give you that impression at all?

  • Much wow

  • Chartreuse bidons!

  • Impulse bought some of the black GT gloves on Ebay for £45. Anybody use em/can comment on their efficacy?

I've found them to be excellent - they took about 500 miles to get comfortable but now I can wear them all day, on century+ rides without any problems.

Just remember there's no sweat/snot wipe as they're a bit sore on the nose.

  • I'd like to purchase some Rapha jeans but would rather not pay full price. Can anyone tell me if their standard jeans have ever been discounted on their web site? If not, I'll just pay up. Much appreciated.

  • The free postage minimum putting other people off as well?

Is there any other website in the world with such high free postage?

Yes, they have, in the sale. Evans have the sky jeans discounted in the past too. Good, long lasting jeans.

    All4Cycling is €200 minimum

  • By far the coolest Rapha survey post: http://pages.rapha.cc/survey/by-design

  • Full Rapha Pro Team kit, Rapha backpack commuting on OKR.
    On a Cannondale hardtail MTB.

These are the end days friends
