The problem I have is a sharp, sudden pain in my right knee that comes on a few hours after a run. I had it a few weeks ago for the first time, and now it's back again. It cleared up in just a few days by itself last time, so slowly eased back in to my running and all seemed fine, until today.
My knee is a bit sore behind it, between the two big tendons coming down from my thigh. It's a bit stiff, but I can walk almost pain free, until a sudden, sharp pain sets in for a second, then disappear just as quick. Resting helps, and elevation. Pain and stiffness goes completely after just 30 mins or so, but comes back quite soon when I start to walk.
It doesn't feel like it's a cartilage issue, as moving it is pain free. My guess would be that something might be swollen from the run? Any ideas?
Anyone know a good physio now that bluerip00 is away for a few weeks? Preferably in east / north / central london
