Seasalter, I remember that name. Spent a year or so in that area living on a shoestring budget (this was before Whitstable was 'discovered' by London types and became well pricey) and yeah it does have that edge-of-civilisation feel you also get on the Isle of Portland, Anglesey, bits of the Essex coast etc
