Gosh such a long time ago that I started this thread, so many shorts later!
I now have this to offer:
Mavic: nice moulded pad with increased density on the sit bones but the lettering peels off, they look tatty now.
Santini: pad is a bit basic but does the job, but the elastic holding the legs is a bit sus and looks tatty now.
Castelli: comfy pad, great fit and worth the additional cost.
Rapha: like most rapha stuff, bit meh but looks nice.
Assos: probably worth the money, but I've never tried them.
