That one is my size and all, but I want something with a brake, cause I'm not imo ready for something brakeless.
I would never get myself to drill something that nice either.

I've got one as well...bought from the original owner....early 80's in 753R. Road/time trial bike with tight(ish) angles in a beautiful dark pearlescent blue with gold head tube and scripts.
Just over 24 inches centre to centre and equipped with mainly top Campag parts, the build quality is superb and the ride even better. No longer the fastest thing out there, but with 24 gears and mudguards (plus the plushest early 70's Brooks Professional) it makes a fantastic bike for just getting on and riding.
May be for sale so if anyone interested then let me know. In fantastic condition and gets attention wherever it goes!

Greetings from the Bahamas- I have a 1989 Barry Chick teardrop tubed Ishiwata 019 tubing, time trial / lo pro- I have a 700c campag rear disc for it, 24 cheese cutter bladed 24" front wheel on record hub and wolber rim- bars are mavic lo pro, headset campag [athena I think] and BB also, with possible Croce Daune or similar chainset- but I am looking to sell, such a beauty and I don't use her anymore - I bought her from Shorter Rochford NEW!! Bout the time that old Martin was getting his first bladed alu bars made up... She is matallic gunmetal grey, 99% perfect [sprayed by Condor cycles in 2004][original colour was orangey-red/white] has new Barry Chick decals. Looks very similar to the purple one at top of page.
The poor thing is haunting me from my track days and it should go forth and race again! If anyone interested send me a PM and I can send pics.
My 1988 Bob Jackson 531c road bike is very healthy and still on the road - such a pleasure to ride! -

I've been riding a Barry Chick built Shorter for a little while.
Would like to get some 105 shifters and some new brakes, but zero funds at the minute.
