You want something lubricating. Some anti seize grease will sort of harden into a crust. I'm pretty sure the white lithium grease I have does. Personally, I'd use something decent.

Well, yah, that's exactly how I did it.

I went for Lithium, I'm sure I won't die etc. Phil grease for the rich.

The lack of sealing is impressive

Where as Speedplay pedals are for the ?

Pretty sure even from Condor OTS Phil grease is only a tenner.
