Didn't read the description, I'm not sure about the weight. My girlfriends bike is much heavier than my Alu 58cm bike so I'm guessing the steel is pretty heavy

A normal steel frame is usually around 2000g, fork tend to be around 1000g.
2800g seemed a bit excessive, even against plain gauge steel frame, that bike really isn't anything special.

So unfortunately the wheels were stolen in the night. It's highly unlikely but if anybody sees a set of white wheels for sale do let me know. They're unbranded though I think they're Alex rims or something like that. 16t freewheel on one side and white 28c randos
