yes colin murray did this on his radio show last week
probably still available as a podcastlisten to the first 5 mins of each show this week he does a quick brief of what is coming up
overall it was somethink like 30% survive for 2 or more seasons
he looked at 1st place 2nd place and qualifying via play offs
he also looked at 1st season syndrome and the follow on effect in the second season
was quite interesting2nd place team was the most sucessful i believe
Interesting. I wonder if there is a transcript - I can't stand him.

He's a football manager, have they ever showed any signs of sartorial elegance?
Gianluca Vialli.
At least he wears suits. Mourinho looked like a homeless person this weekend. Whatever happened to the housewives favourite?
He was just trying to fit in with the natives.

Gianluca Vialli.
Wasn't he from an aristocratic background? He was probably well turned out when he was still in nappies.

Click on the transcript... Google hasn't got a fucking clue what they're saying.

Rodgers continues to make rather basic sartorial errors. In the picture above, he's wearing a soft collared shirt with a suit.
And his suits are always shiney. Definite sign of a cheap suit...
How's Big Sam getting on with his expansive football? You still aren't completely safe from relegation are you?

We're not, no.

But at least he's been to a decent tailor.
He'll still have most of his dinner down his suit though.

Is nobody talking abot the big game this evening? I'm off to Craven Cottage tonight for the FA Youth Cup final, apparently only £5 on the gate.

I guess this is Chelsea's best chance of silverware this season!

This.
Whoever makes it into 6th will have scrapped to get there and should be quite confident. I wouldn't be surprised if Reading did well.

awaits nergs from festus
I've never nergged you. I don't think I've ever given one on dis here forum. I thought the last one was pretty good.
I hope Brenda has learnt from his latest lapse of naivety: You have your half, we'll have ours. Job done.

We need to improve our dealings in the transfer window. Keep our cards close to our chest. Now we can offer CL football I can't see Tottenhams dirty dog attempts to hijack our signings bear any fruit but obviously Chelsea will try to nick anyone we want to sign so we need to be shrewd
You know there are a finite number of players to choose from? Recent history suggests we're very close to Spurs in the league hence going for the same players. Just look at the £100M and where has that got them? How many do you see there that you want in yours?
If I were you, I'd pray that the gambler (BR) has learned something from this weekends loss and comes back a little more pragmatic and less getting washed away on a wave of:
"the neutral's favourite, best footie since records began, we deserve it because....blah blah blah"
You should hope he is much more successful in getting first/second choice players. Because to do as he has done with that many failings in the transfer market is excellent. -

That's a pretty good narrative.
