I did 64km this weekend. Blimey.
Usual football ride, last of the season, with a slight diversion on Saturday. I overtook at least two other cyclists on the way. (I will stop being excited about this soon!)
Then today cycled from home to Victoria park where I met Bothwell, Nigel182 and +1 and we cycled up the canal path, crossing to the River Lea and parted just by Ponders End. I then cycled through Chingford (ok, I walked up 2 hills) and Walthamstow on my way home. 40k in all.
The canal path part was slow but I sped up on the way home and really felt like I could have cycled more.
Chingford was interesting. I think I have found some hills which will help prepare me for the Hartside Pass.
