good to see a forum chainring is being put to good use. :) go for the 900s :) carbon to match the forks and seatpost... (you need a carbon stem) also, the spring action can be fixed in a number of ways ranging from leccy tape to biro springs

Aha! Yes. I've read about the Niro spring method, just wasn't sure if the extra £40 premium meant the 900's had this.
I'll have a think! Then again DA7710 cranks for around town should make it easy to justify!
Miro_o yep 1inch king thread less non-sotto voce version. I think you would need a different top cup too if converting. Although I'm not 100% sure.
