As I'm actually racing this year rather than just riding I'm working on being a bit smarter about nutrition following some advice in the tt thread.
White powder (myprotein - go long) seems to work, got through 3 bottles with 36g of carbs, and one sis go bar on 100 miles at 30kph, and no breakfast. had a bit of a wobble at 85 miles and grabbed a Rice Krispies square from a handy shop.
I've got a more carby powder I'll try next week but I quite like this one, it kept my energy levels much more stable than my usual mix of a big breakfast, and a big slice of cake about half way.
Due to weather conditions I rode my training bike which is nearly as low at the front end, as my tt bike but given I've got a 100 mile time trial in about 4 weeks I really need to get out on it.
I've got a 160mile solo ride in a week and a half so hopefully if I can make that on the tt bike I'll be confident about getting through this tt!
