Indeed. What made the situation even worse, that it was rush hour and there was at least 4 cyclists behind me. None of them stopped.
I got the chance to check this kind of thing a couple of months back after coming off spectacularly on a wet bit of road. Of the three cyclists behind me, one asked if I was OK but didn't stop, one just went past, and another made a kind of annoyed tutting sound as she barged past me sprawled on the tarmac. So much for transport camaraderie.
A motorist on the other hand actually stopped, got out and asked if I was alright (I was).
