I just picked this up yesterday, not quite sure what ive got..
It had a mixture of parts on it, some 105 'golden arrow' brakes crankset and headset...
The brakes are recessed allen key type.
Thanks for any feedback.

BCM is short for Bocama - The lug manufacturer
The pump boss on the back of the headtube is not a particularly common shape.
Probably a British builder, certainly a frame of reasonable quality. -

Thanks Rik, i think i might get it resprayed..

Hi
Can you help me identify what this frame is?
It is very light so I think it is 753 or similar tubing. The lugs have cut outs; the seat stays are very nicely finished; nice sloping fork crown and drilled rear ends.
I had it at the Manchester bike jumble and somebody thought it maybe a Raleigh.
Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks
Rob

Hasko-- like nearly all these ko companies-- is a German language company. This time its probably Hasko Radsport.

As long as it fits you better than the current owner...
It is pretty gate-sized and a bit of a mish-mash of parts, but Germany's bike market also suffers heavily from track frame tax.

It's actually in a small Austrian village. There is just not allot of market here outside a few big cities. My intrest was peaked because classic steel frames tend to go for this much alone in this shape or more.

I recently picked up this De Ver low-profile bike from ebay, I think it might be a Ciocc frame but I could easily be wrong. There are no tubing stickers on the frame however the forks are columbus. All dropouts are gipiemme.
Im also having difficulty finding a solution for the attaching my Shimano 600 indexed downtube shifters as the braze on is completely flat giving nothing for the base of the shifter to grip too. So when you try to change gear, the whole thing moves (I hope this makes sense).

^ BSA or italian Bottom bracket would be a good place to start (Ciocc would probably have Italian thread).
Easiest way to find out might be to contact DeVer direct and see if they recognise it.
There'll probably be someone there who can point you in the right direction.re: shifters, I'm not entirely conversant with the 600 DT shifter, but I'd imagine you probably need to lose the rounded bits
And bolt the flat bits straight onto the bosses. I had old Campag DT shifters bolted onto square bosses in much the same way as this

Anyone seen this Nitto Bullhorn before? Looking at purchasing used in Japan.
All I know is that it is 40cm wide and 26mm diameter at the stem.

^ Maybe Nitto RB 021's or RB 009's?

Thanks, feels like the RB-019 is a closer match.

Are you sure they're both the same bars? The top ones look like painted steel and the bottom anodized aliminium.
The 2nd ones look like Easton EA30 Aeros to me.
Edit: I want to revise my answer and say that I think they may be Deda Elementi Anatomic 250s. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Deda-Elementi-Anatomic-250-Drop-Handlebar-26mm-40cm-Compact-Road-Bike-Bar-/380639258270

So I've bought a bike just for the cheap Nuovo Record groupset attached to it but when picking it up my eye caught something. Fork crowns were Colnago engraved! When checking further the clover cut-out is also there but there is only one clover in the lugs. If you check closely you can cleary see that the frame has had Colnago decals.
This whole story can be simplified in one sentence: is this a real Colnago and if so, what type? Frame is for sale by the way, PM me if you want it (55x55)
Thanks for the help!

I would say a Super from the 70's . around 75

On which frame are you going to mount the nuovo record ? Why sell the Colnago ? It is a good frame ( maybe better than your other ) You can also restore the Colnago with the nuovo record...

Colnago super....what he said ^^
That's a Mavic pista hub. Great find.
I would say it's a conversion, unless it was a prototype as I don't think Shimano offered stock threadless headsets back then. Reason I'm saying this is that Shimano themselves say in their tech doc/site (can't remember which) to buy the M Part coverter separately for threadless conversion.
