haha, not only does it look like a kids frozen treat/romanian flag/gay pride mobile, it also has lots of missing paint from the welding i had done. Definitely calls for a new paint job.

  • how do you stop?

Probably with the help of the angle provided by that dipped saddle!

  • how do you stop?

Truck arrester beds. Truck arrester beds and a coaster hub.

  • How well does that work at high speeds, out of interest? I've only ever used coasters on silly cruiser bikes. And would you not still want foot retention to help with the back pressure/the complete the forumenger aesthetic?

In terms of stopping, I've used it in anger a few times and it does the job. Not well. But it works.

It's not really built for high speed with a 44-16 setup and no brakes up front, but it's good for nipping around the city and happens to be the only thing with skinny tires I own.

Truth be told what started as a weekend project, taking the derailleurs off and running it as a poor man's single-speed, got a bit out of hand and this is what I've ended up with.

It's always been about the aesthetics. I like it anyway.

  • Sounds pretty ideal for the summer, not sure I'd trust one in the midst of a wet winter, but i suppose it won't get ridden then if you've got other bikes. And 44x16 can get plenty fast enough, albeit a bit spinny, although I guess you can freewheel on descents anyway... I'm almost starting to come around to the idea now!

It's a bit lofty but if there's ever the opportunity you'd be more than welcome to take her for a spin.

  • I think you've met both Alex and I in dandy before, definitely recognise this

  • Really? I don't recognise it at all!

  • I've definitely seen it, I said that we both had as we're always in there together

  • Very true, more than likely I've just forgotten.

  • ^^Bromance?

  • ^I do have that type of phone.....
