The Roubiax tyres can be as big as nearly 30mm, which is the threshold with short reach brakes, race tyres tend to be thinner, so 30mm will fit whether a puncture resistant commuting tyres of the same size don't.
Inflate those tyres too high, says 120psi and it will rubs on the brakes.
JB, I want more Compass tyres, I got the Loop Loop, they're excellent, if you can get me the Barlow Pass in all black 650b 42c, I'll forever be in your debt.
My Loop Loop (38mm) have the same thread as my old GB Cypres, plus they're lighter too with what felt like a more supple sidewall.
