cos you might get offended when someone tells you that -

the slack chain looks shit

the QR skewer looks shit

the brooks looks shit on a track bike (shit full stop IMHO, but I appreciate I am in a minority on this one).

the non-matching tyres look shit

the frame looks ok but nothing special

the front end looks shit (and you'll bash your hands on the tyres when you turn a corner.)

the saddle angle looks shit

you can't even get the bar tape to look vaguely symmetrical.
