  • Thanks guys, when I bought the hubs in the kinoko sale originally I was going to build them onto different rims and put them on here, then I bought the pendle and spotted some archetypes also on sale so I built up the wheel set before realising out they would't be practical for track (not tubs, single fixed, odd chain line) so they have ended up on here while I decide on something else for the pendle. Pretty glad this wheel build has come full circle.

  • Indra - you're a part of Das Rad?

Traitor! Orlo looks clean man. Wish it fitted me. :(

  • No mate just had the sticker on it so I didn't remove it, show some history innit.

Still got the 75 grad on the pendle too.

  • Btw where were you Saturday?

    • Please tell me you weren't sleeping ..
  • Nah just wasn't having a good day and spent a lot of time away from my phone.

  • Ridiculously classy build. Wheelset compliment it spot on. Don't lock it with that puny thing. If fact, never lock it to anything.

    Cuz Chak'll be lurking!

    • We still on for swapping stems?
  • So class mate.
Whered you get the strong Vs?

  • Those wheels look tidy. Nice bike.

  • Cheers Both,
The grips came with the full cockpit I got off Hugo.

  • Jaksemazz.. veri naiss!

Gangsta is in serious need of a clean/new drivetrain.

  • Or just replace the chain when it's almost worn out? save you a huge amount of hipster dollas buying a new cog and chainring again.

  • I usually replace chains after a couple of months, just got a bit behind on this one.

  • That Brooklyn is way too sensible. You need to do something awful to it.

I recommend stripping it and spraying the forks hot pink

  • On the subject of sensible…

Indra, are they Raceblade XLs and 35c Nomads? How's the coverage?

  • Yes indeed, coverage is good but you have to run them quite high like I am to stop the rubbing the tyres but apart from that they work very well.

  • Got this stem from Bueno yesterday, I think I prefer it to the ARX.

The blocky look goes well with the stays IMO.

  • ^^ Cheers man. I want something to cover my 35c Ribmos in this wet weather. I offered up one of Pepe's XLs and the tyre seemed to be exactly the same width, maybe even a little wider… I guess that's what I get for running 33mm rims.

  • How do you find the 33mm rims and 35c tyres? The rims I've got on are only 24mm but they feel ok.

  • I love it.
