^^. I suggest exactly that to Rogan, custom Talbot fork to match frame with low rider (and low trail maybe) so the frame won't need to be brazed.
Bonus of low trail is that you can piles on the front and still retain that nimble handling to keep it from feeling like a sluggish tourer.
