The colour really isn't bad...
Rode a supersix evo last week for 25 miles and really liked the bike. I think its one of the best production all rounders.
If the stem length bothers you look at a shorter reach bar to enable a longer stem.
I also think unless you are building a high end boutique wheel set you seem to always be better with a factory wheel as careful shopping will result in a good price on old stock.

The UK rep for Parlee said that the SuperSix is the only production frame that's in the same league as a Parlee. Having said that, he used to work for Cannondale before jumping ship. I really, really enjoy the ride, but I'm not in a position to quantify just how good it is, or how it stacks up against other bikes.
Stem length doesn't bother me. 90mm means the bike fit, so I've got a 90mm stem. No problem.
Unfortunately, there are not many factory wheels which combine the factors I consider important at a price that I can afford, and most of them are too recent to be on sale or second hand that much.
