Ah that sounds like an excellent plan™ , no personal experience of pilates - but the difference for me between doing a few isolated stretches on my own to doing 1.5 hours of focused work in yoga has been night and day. I've gone from being grateful when most days my knees felt only wrong, but didn't hurt, to actually not noticing them most of the time. Hope you have a similar experience !!
