Letter in the Evening Standard from one T Bendixson, University of Southampton, supporting cycling and walking. Naturally, I smelled a rat, but it turns out that it's a real person, and his first name is Terence. It is unconfirmed at this point what his views are on major A-roads.

He's actually president of Living Streets. I met him several years after picking this username but still lol a bit every time I meet him/he comes up in conversation.
