I'm so far behind where I was at this time last year (in terms of base) that it's just not funny.
I've still got the end of the cold that floored me last week- a friend of mine (to whom I gave it) is convinced he's got AID's.
So, my training for the slopes of mount Dalsnibba start basically now.
I do have one advantage- I've not torn my soleus (yet!), so will actually be able to do some running before the event this time round.
