in answer to my own question i whipped over to the velodrome and had a quick scout out
lots of bike bays not a lot of people there at the minute
security guards say we can also lock to the fence around the entrance level concourse / walkway
i think the bike bays will fill up very quickly once lunchtime comes around
no monitored security for bikes though like at excel or earls court
