Lesson learned, I'll pay attention more closely next time. I suppose the fact that I said the bike was rapid means everyone wants to claim ownership
It's probably Tom who works at Ubyk on the Abingdon rd, he's got a blue pompino although he usually rides a white MTB.

Just remembered these are in the loft, too.
About 750km use last spring/summer. Braking surface still excellent; no rim tape.
£35 for the pair. I work in OX1, live in OX2.

RACING, MTBs, BEER. "Criterium cyclocross sportive XC style ride race thing. Its alot more fun than it sounds." Got a mountainbike? Like going fast? Meet us on the corner of Old Road & Roosevelt Drive, Headington, on the 13th of April. Precise time to be confirmed within a few days.

Just realised that no one has mentioned the Abingdon cycling festival which is on tomorrow. Plenty of rides heading out for different abilities, grass track racing for kids in the abbey park. They've a face book for further info.

Someone walking a white Dolan (Pre Cursa I think) up the hill on Headington Road.

Small Plug in Navy Blue.
The bad bits:
Seat post stuck - hasn't been subjected to heat or caustic or anything but is pretty stuck at height to suit around 5'6". I expect someone could release it with the correct skills.
Small ding in right side of top tube presumably a handlebar ding but it is not noticeable usually.
It has been well used and ridden - the paint is fine, but not in 'very good condition'. There are no full thickness scratches but quite a few superficial ones from locking etc. No patches of bare frame, rust...
Bar tape is original and thus a bit tired.
Conti GP4000s front and rear in used, but not end-stage condition.Good bits:
Its a super day to day fixed gear. Have changed the gearing to 46x16 with a new BLB chainring which makes it a little less spinny.
Original wheels are true.
It's straight and honest.Currently doesn't have pedals but could supply a pair of super-basic flats with clips (the ones bikes come form the shop with) or a pair of well-used MKS with clips and straps.
Would like £120. Would like not to post but could deliver within circa 30mins of Oxford.
Home OX5, work OX3Best,

A guy with an orange baseball cap, on a light blue fixed with half chromed forks (it was a great looking bike), on the corner of Broad Street and Magdalen Street. On here?

I think I've seen him around before. Narrow risers, fulcrum 5 front wheel, no foot retention?

As far as I could tell he had straps and clips, although I could have been mistaken. Didn't catch the name of the bike, but it was a steel frame. Traditional construction, lugs, quill stem (I think) and curved forks, but the paint looked new and tidy.

Anyone keen for another fixed crit on the Oxford business park roundabout loop again? I've still got my boggy prize from last time when I sprinted a lap early, celebrated and got overtaken!

Light green steel frame, bullhorns, double toe straps. Locked up outside Headington Starbucks. And a nice chrome brakeless Langster on Gloucester Street

Haha that was a fun race, could do it again on the 17th of May I'll be around so it gives me a chance to defend my title.

I'd be up for that, although probably not until later in May as I have exams. Also probably have to do something about the 39x16 ratio I currently have on my fixed...

17th is the only date I'm back till way later in the summer, either way there will be beers and riding going on whether there's a race or not.
