  • ^^ My office used to be around there.. my colleague said the mexican/ polish was a bit odd..the Lebanese places is really good and Misto does simple Italian food, but good and fresh. The pub Ye Grapes does Thai food upstairs

  • Eats Buffalo wings, worries about health?

I mixed the sauce with melted butter as instructed.

I was eating 2 packs of them as there wasn't enough meat in one pack.

have tried it with butter and without, tbh couldn't tell much difference.

I know what you mean about a bit odd - it's been on my list of things to have a look at for a while. Reviews are very mixed. If it turns out to be shit I see there's a Hawksmoor over near Piccadilly.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Made this the other night: http://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/red-quinoa-salad-with-cauliflower-and-walnuts

Though Quinoa is becoming an increasingly expensive option

Chicken in a honey butter reduction (which I need to work on) alongside this recipe and some Halloumi for added gratification.

  • 7/10 for resemblence to cock and balls. missed opportunity on spunking gravy.

  • I'm invited to eat with some Spanish friends tomorrow who have just received a batch of delicious Spanish charcuterie. To give something back I'm going to make a beautiful pan of arroz caldoso alicantino with chicken and maybe some seafood.

  • Will they appreciate Spanish food cooked by a forrin? Just give them some Gouda and chips with mayo.

  • If your cocks and balls look like that you should maybe see a doctor.

  • Looks about right, uncircumcised but that is how the kids today do things.

They will appreciate the effort, and I do quite a good one so they'll be in no position to complain.

Had a quick go at it in the name of practise. Only used chicken filet though. Tonight I will have a whole chicken and some seafood to go in there and ofcourse pieces of lemon on the side. Yet the taste was great! (Needs a bit more liquid to be a real arroz caldoso, will get that right tonight)

Went to Yum-D in Market Row for lunch yesterday, their beef laksa is divine... Much better than the place Jay Rayner likes around the corner and cheap as chips...
