In my opinion one of the best rear lights you can get is the Smart Lunar R2. Particularly when it's on sale at On-One/PlanetX.
The Cateye Volt 300 front is quit good (£60 mind) as it has enough power for darker out of town rides and a good attention grabbing flashingode for in town.
