Although most of the medical profession frown on vegetarianism and veganism in eating disorder recovery, I finding that by sourcing, preparing, sharing, and inventing my meals from scratch and so also planning ahead, I am able to develop a much better relationship with food and my body. Processed food always has things in it that trigger me (salt, sugar, caffeine, fat) so when I know exactly what goes in to something I'm far more in control and therefore happy :)
