Built this commuter for a mate under a grand thanks to discounted TF Wide Open frameset. Parts are: 105 compact groupset; Tektro long drop brakes, cheap/used bars, stem, seatpost and saddle. Novatec hubs on A23 with 28c Ultremo ZX tyres. All under 10kg.
Very nice, and a great value for money build. I presume it'll get mudguards at some point? As a commuter already fitted with long drop calipers you're all set.

(need to choose better spots to take pictures than my back garden)
BUT, my langdale is pretty much finished
Want a new headset and brakes, drill the frame to accomidate a second bottle cage rather than my zipp tie job (which works very well
The paints also a bit tatty so might have to pay a visit to armortex as well
going to get some new wheels in the far future but the aksiums are fine for now -

change stem/bars and saddle and that'd be nice

That Langdale is lovely! Exactly my type of bike, few tweaks and it's superb. As Roymund already said, get some compacts and level the saddle. Also your gear cable routing is quite bad.

Personally i'm a big fan of the ITM/Colnago stem and ITM bars.

I think it might be my pictures as well haha - the seats level its just the curves/the photo angle that make it look not so. also the handlebars look massive for some reason..

Ha oh yeah.
When you see it...
scrap that.
had a much better idea. will get a bolt on disc cog for my voodoo with front disc brake.
Just had a look now, putting the wheel the wrong way around in the drops (assuming rotor = cog sorta thing) the chainline don't look too far off.
So once I place an order with velosolo (19t cog, 42t chainring) it should look like this
but with less cables and sprockets.
