I did look at the Spark, but the rubber band mount looked a bit flimsy. Is this the case? Any opinions on the Hope mount?

The Strada looks great, but too many £££'s for me. Basically I'm looking for a light that will allow me to extend my commute into the lanes after work. It'll just be for those couple of hours after sun down.

I've got a Spark that I use for commuting and am still using the original rubber band mount. It seems plenty secure enough.

Lots of people on here have had issues with the Hope Vision 1 mount, but I've always found it to work well. It was my night light of choice until I got the Diablo, it illuminates well but if you're riding at speed, i.e. greater than 15 mph, I find the length of the beam a bit short.
