You got a matching team bottle! Looking good. How does it ride?

That Raltech is awesome, how easy is it to take on and off?
Pretty easy.
-
• #91254
Is it something you can take on and off regularly as well, or does each mounting plug thing just work once?
-
• #91255
They're reusable. Really impressed with how well it fits actually.

Looks really neat. How much are they? Almost wish I hadnt bought my disk wheel.

£140 for the basic ones that i've got, you can pay more for slightly lighter ones or ones with a fancier weave. Made to order. They're lenticular so should be faster than most of the cheap discs out there like the old Heds.

suggestions for a low rake, low a-c, v brake fork? no crabons, steel or something else strong...?
-
• #91259
for the raltechs you could buy carbon/anycolour vinyl and cover the wheels to make it look like a real disc and not have those circles showing

Not very low rake but the salsa casseroll could be worth checking out. Think they come in 45 and 50 rake and has an a-c of about 380ish+ i think. Should take 35s and comes in canti version i believe.

Yeah 140 quid for a wheel cover seems overkill to me.. Got my disc wheel, including nearly new tub, for the same money.

How about a BMW cluster fork with V brake mounts brazed on, or is the a2c too long at 410mm?

How do you solve clearance issues where the tyre rubs against the DT? I got a tight frame and I need a few mm to fit a 23 on there. Spacer ring on the lower cup?

Headset with more stack and wide rims.

I had plastic covers before, the Raltecs are a much better product and worth the money IMO.

Not really a Project. Put together a OTP bike from several boxes and added some bags. But I've been hunting for a suitable bike for Mrs Smallfurry, at a suitable price, for so long it feels like one.

^^^^ so what did you get in the end?

Headset with more stack and wide rims.
You can also put a ball bearing on top of the front axle in the dropouts.

I have also ordered some raltechs as the vinyl covers are so shit. Tape peels off every five minutes. Totes frustrating. Wheel disc no good for me running hub either.
