To get accreditation = 4 steps, the first of which is a taster. I think by the time you get to stage 3 I'ld be surprised to think that trainers would still be ok.
The website isn't up to date and you need to have a membership number, there are obviously teething issues with the whole process.
Expect to spend a minimum of £100-120 to get an accreditation.
Plenty of bike parking outside and you'll have no problem bringing in folding bikes and using the lockers.
It is about 20mins ride from Liverpool St via Victoria Park/Eastway and then into the park.
