Thanks Machine. Swiss Chard is really delicious. It is like spinach but more grown up and earthy flavoured. The stalk and leaf are both edible. It does not have a good shelf life so is rarely found commercially, but we has some growing from autumn-sown seed in our greenhouse which has come good.
