I'm pretty sure Flickr gave me some sort of ymail account when I set up my Flickr Pro membership years ago. Have never sent or received email from that address, but if it's required for login only then I already have it. Would assume other Pro users do too.
Bit stupid of them to limit the service in that way though, signing in through Gmail or FB is fine, shirley.
