I find it really annoying that Tektro no longer make the R200 so if you want a nice flat transition between your lever and bar, you have to shell out for the stupidly overpriced SCR-5s.
Condor and Retroshift (CX0) sell them as their own now.

Googling 'Tektro R200' here brought me these Origin8 Pro-Force Aero levers.
P'raps worth looking to see if there are any existing UK stockists, or if somebody like SJS can get them in. -

Last time I spoke to Condor, they'd changed their levers to the Tektro RL340s but hadn't updated the image on their website.

Pretty sure Cane Creek are the only people still using the old shape. Oh and Retroshift but I can't seem to find them in the UK.
I'll probably just keep an eye out for another pair of R200s on ebay, which is where I got my last pair.
Cheers though.

That's all wrong apart from the bit about you looking on ebay.

If you know something I don't about the Condor levers, please feel free to enlighten me . My comment above was just based on a telephone conversation I had with them a while ago.
As for the Origin 8 levers they are definitely the RL340s
I mentioned them being the mk2 as they have a different shaped lever blade to the originals, which had the same lever blade as the R200s
This post makes me feel like I need to get a life.

These are my Condor levers
look exactly the same and have tektro stamped on the inside of the hoods

Ah, fair play. When did you get em?
-
• #3735
This is the R200 shape. Ignore the lever blades, look at the hoods.
The Condors (on powleos Dolan above) are R200 shape. Condor show those on their site and are marked in stock now. It's possible they're using the wrong photo.
Both of those in your post (showing different lever blades) use R340 hoods.

IRD re-releasing them as the "Drillium ZST".
Shame it's drilled, but least it's not as ugly as the R340.

I don't know what's so difficult to grasp? I phoned Condor a while back as they were out of stock. They said they were getting more in but they would be a new different shape lever. Just asked when they were purchased to try and determine if this was the case or not? Am I missing something?

I'll make this easy for you Chris:
Phone Condor.

You realise Chris asked 'when' not 'where' right?

Yes.

damn my nuts hurt just looking at some of those set ups..

Very quick question people,
I can mount mini Vs in place of the cantis that came on my pomp (built by planet X) and still use the same levers (some kind of tektro levers that were paired with my cantis by planet X).Is this correct?
-
• #3745
Shouldn't be a problem. The modulation may differ a tiny bit, but that's easily adjusted.
-
• #3746
Are my eyes deceiving me, or have I seen some of the builds on here with full size Vs on? If so, why would you want full size Vs over mini Vs? and are there drop levers that work with full size Vs?

Thanks for your reply.
How does one change the modulation, please? Is it from the lever or from the brake? -

Yes, there are a couple of drop bar levers that work with MTB length V-brakes, e.g. DiaCompe 287V and something by Tektro. There's no very good reason to use them on a Pompino, because mini-Vs are long enough for the cross cable to clear anything which will fit under the bridge/fork crown. The market trade-off is a wider choice of calipers but a narrower choice of levers.

It's from the brain - after a while, you get used to it and stop noticing.

Ah. Interesting. In fact I intend to put a mini V on the back - to aid with clearance for the rack arms. At the moment they are pinching the yoke something awful (paint scraping off) and something needs to be done about it.
How funked up (do you reckon) will the braking be with a canti on the front and a mini V on the back?
I just got some adjustable noodles to go with mini v's for the least amount of faff
