I found this 'spreadable chorizo' at a farmers market yesterday.

It doesn't look very good...

However... The taste of chorizo is amazing! Incredible!

I really hope the bloke gets enough business to stay there. He also had sweet and sour smoked paprika which I've not seen before.

It's not spreadable chorizo, it's sobrasada and it shouldn't come from a friggin plastic tub. It's not margarine FFS.

This is what they're supposed to look like. Well hung.


It's lovely on a pa 'amb oli or with honey.
They also make a great cake with it.

Coca de sobrasada and apricots. The massa is made of potato flour.
