Are non electric Gran Fondo 01 really bad at shifting?
Can the bad shifting related to the frame?
There is a kink in the driveside chainstay. Which makes mechanical cable routing tricky. My mate reckons his terrible shifting was part worn lever and part increased frocition from the kink. He has now gone to Di2 and is loads happier.
He never got around to testing the shifting with my lever and his mechanical set-up, as the snow cleared and I started using my bike. So cant really blame the frame 100%.
The GF01 frame comes in only one version. With cable stops etc. for either electrical or mechinical supplied. So BMC seem to be happy with it.
