I'm struggling with it, to be honest. I turned off the last episode (I saw) after a couple of minutes. I was pretty sure I could see where he was going with his this-is-offensive-but-this-is-not gag, and it was neither a new, clever, or particularly insightful comment. It just felt like he was trying to play a joke on his audience (having said that, I could be way off and it may have been much more interesting than that. I turned it off quite early).
