@ tlc actually the more I think about it, I realise you're right, it's complicated by the DLR. Also I guess at least we're not continuing through New X like we did a couple of years back. But I'll be going from Blackheath down Morden Hill to Elverson Rd station*, and over the footbridge. Partly cos I'll be riding with a young passenger/stoker, so Blackheath Hill is too scary...
*Morden Hill is the best quiet route, but maybe the footbridge not suitable for lots of riders to use it ... unless they dismount.
