Try the double barrel build some time. It's a little fiddly but definitely worth it on a mech mod. I got a new Origen dripper last week and it's exactly as I had heard, but the Kayfun is pretty close in terms of vapour production / flavour and carries 5ml, so is much better for out and about.
For those of you having leaking into the battery problems, it's probably worth thinking about the possible routes for juice to get there. I'm not hands on familiar with the Davide or Nature Vape, so I guess it's possible that it's o-rings leaking somewhere above or below the atomiser head. However, I think it's also a good idea to take a look at your wicks. If there isn't enough wick plugging the hole, then juice can leak through and down the airhole, onto your battery. If there's too much wick, it will be choked in the hole, which won't let juice through and you'll get a burnt taste. If you think it's possible that you don't have enough wick, remove the top of the atomiser head, roll up a strand of cotton wool ball and lay it over the top of the wick that's already in there.
