Curiosity got the better of me while in the beverage aisle. Currently drinking this:

It is not delicious and, while it claims it is 'Gesund' which means 'healthy', it actually claims that it is 'Gesund*'. I wasn't able to read what the footnote said but it is a little sus.

Also, I am not sure a qualified Gesund is worth the unqualified sour kombucha-like taste. 2/10 would not chug.

It claims to be good for your skin, intestines and blood. It doesn't claim to be delicious and I can see why.

I know several people who'll tell you it really benefits your health though.

I'm happy to say that I feel healthy enough to not feel the need to drink something that looks like cloudy piss in a bottle. And if I would feel less healthy I'd probably try a doctor first!

Was good and cheap last time I went, a bit typical for central london tourist food but just a bit better on every measure than the usual range.

First adventure in Sous-Vide last night - 2x Onglet steaks, that had been vac-packed with rosemary and thyme since sunday night. I have to say, forgetting entirely the even-ness of cooking, which was awesome, the most impressive thing for me was the permeation of flavour into the steak itself. Post searing, i tried a slice straight from the pan and it was phenomenal! The oily herbs had transferred so much flavour to the meat, but without overwhelming it. So stoked on this machine.

Next.... 36 hour cooked Porchetta, finished in a deep fryer. WATCH out!

When you inviting us all round for dinner, the porchetta thing sounds immense :)

Let me perfect the recipe then I am more than happy to have a food topic forum sandwich fest at my gaff!
